Resource Conservation

Resource Conservation

In comprehension of my disappointment of our current resource conservation I see it is stymied by the inertia of consumerization, convenience, lack of concern, and ignorance and like all maters of unprovoked effort unlikely to inspire any personal action.

I have long ago retired and taken a quest of rest and relaxation and continue to enjoy and get away with it. Having nothing good to say I say nothing at all and unable to return necessary to nature I remain still and calm and consume little. I live to love and learn. In the name of progress our children’s environment is being sacrificed, discarded, plundered, wasted, and ravaged through an out of control consumer society, ornate religious convictions, and a government strangled by capitalism.

Had I not enlisted in the ASA, served in Vietnam, and privy to top secret information I would still imagine War was about Freedom and Democracy. I would think only Germany was War for profit, washbrained and lied to its people, declared war under false pretences, and murdered women and children excused as end justifying the means. I live the Vietnam War all over again and again and we the people never learn to have concern or seek the truth or ask why. For whatever reason I was spared the ignorance and know the symbolic meaning of the miracle of the blind given sight. It is that line of sight that has separated me from the heard and allowed me insight of deception.

Resources are depleted and currently my granddaughters are $250,000 in IRS (national debt / tax payers) debt and more by the time they get working papers. And what pray tell do you expect of them. Simply put Fossil fuel, environment, and economic stability are tied together and running out world wide. Consider this gasoline is cheaper than bottled water now and without teaching economics 101 let me ask you how much the last barrel of oil or gallon of gas in 2050 will sell for. Can you not imagine for one moment paying $20 for a gallon of gas in 2020 when the demand outpaces the supply and how that alone would change you and your world economic environment if it happened today.

Hello economics is not economical, society is not social, democracy is not democratic, but as long as it is feasible, profitable, and most of all convenient for most we follow the crowd and pretend. Everyone seems to be in lala land and most are by nature Bush phenomenon and Religious rightchousness proves that point. Let me put it this way you live large like you have all the answers and solutions and you bet your children’s future on it and so just like you do for religion and flag you are killing in the name of. You give to your children and steel from your grandchildren with the same stupid smile on your face. It would not surprise me if I lived long enough to see the slaughter of the lambs as today’s wildebeest society bewildered in video time-lapse propaganda diversion techniques are being sidestepped by monopolies and captivated in debit disorientation. They will not fair well waiting on the soup lines for time has become so important in maters of trivial pursuits. Pentium powered nanoseconds of impatience but time flies the same path regardless and it is just a question of time verses environmentally sustainable of middleclass chattel remaining conveniently suitable for corporate profits.

Energy in of itself is not a problem (E = MC. MC.) it’s the greedy way it is consumed and societies ability to point the finger, join the club, and look the other way. Some strange comfort derived from following the crowd to the poles, to church, and to hell if you ask me. Perhaps as we see fit not to imagine caring about the worlds poor even in our own country and our children’s children eventually kayos for the whole wide world is a fitting finally. I only wish you will live to encounter the consequences.

I am of spiritual unity temporally separated with body and do not have faith in you, your personal God, country, or for a positive outcome for future generations. In spite of the gloom and doom I enjoy family, friends, simplicity, science, tranquility, writing, and talents. I do squeak with effort to oil the wheels of vision and believe in maters that awaken sinful obliviousness to it all.

Whether I meet my perceptive maker or simply shed my earthly skin to singularity remains to be seen. I decide the path of my destiny and as for my fatality I am prepared, fortunate, fulfilled, undaunted, and I preciously prize the puzzle solved. I’ve danced with the devil, been saved by the angels, entered my flesh, spread the miracle of life, and except the reality of health and death without remorse and in good conscience.
